Jack and the Spartans

While ascending a mountain, Jack encounters a hidden society of Spartan warriors who have fought against an army of minotaur-like robots for five generations and offers to help them put an end to it. He journeys with their leader, King Spartok, to a futuristic fortress, where the mechanical spider-like monster inside has continuously rebuilt his armies over the conflict. Jack and Spartok destroy the monster, disabling its armies and causing the fortress to explode, but Spartok soon finds Jack has disappeared. In a flash-forward, with his son Brotok as the new king, an elderly Spartok tells his people that he believes Jack survived the fortress’s destruction. Back in the present, Jack’s silhouette is seen walking through the smoke of the ruined fortress.
